The innovation in pinpointing: the new digiPHONE+, the new silence during fault location.
With a combination of two new technologies for efficient noise suppression, the digiPHONE+, a surge wave receiver for acoustic and electromagnetic fault pinpointing, offers perfect acoustic performance which lets pass only the fault noise.
Thanks to the new noise reduction technology in digiPHONE+, fault location is now possible with significantly lower surge energy - also in loud, disturbed environment.
No disturbing noise anymore. You hear only the fault, nothing else!
With new developments in cable fault location and pinpointing, SebaKMT is continuously striving to offer customers time-saving and cost-effective solutions.
To meet the requirements, SebaKMT combined the two systems digiPHONE+ and ESG NT in one device: The digiPHONE+ NT Set.
The acousto-magnetic cable fault pinpointing and step voltage pinpointing of cable sheath faults can thus be done easily, quickly, and reliably.
The operating mode switches automatically, by identifying the selected sensor.
Utility location system to detect and trace cable runs and pipe networks. The Easyloc is fast and simple to operate, with features designed to avoid potentially dangerous power cables and other services as efficiently as possible.
Easyloc is suitable for Water, Rail, Gas, Power, Highways and Telecommunication Utilities and Contractors; Groundworks; Building, Local Authorities, Civil Engineering, Street Lighting, and Fencing, Gardening and Landscaping companies.
The Ferrolux location system is the solution for your day-to-day tasks. You can use the system to quickly and easily find cable faults. You can locate lines just as quickly, measure how deep they are and save data in the memory.
The route sensor for location tasks weighs less than 1 kg, which means you can use it for lengthy periods without getting tired. Special features such as the SuperMax Signal, DirectSignal and SignalSelect make your job easier and the results more accurate.
The unmistakable identification of a cable prior to cutting or mounting is an absolute safety related task. A wrong selection can result in fatal consequences for the operator and caused the loss of supply for the connected customers. For the easy, reliable and safe selection of cables, SebaKMT developed the CI cable selection system.
The CI TX Transmitter generates impulses of up to 100 A. Due to the limitation of impulse voltage to 55 V, the voltage is below the dangerous contact voltage limit, as specified by the German VDE 0100.
The CI RX receiver uses a flex clamp to measure the selection signals. The processor of the CI RX does an evaluation if the impulse shape, polarity, amplitude and frequency and generates an absolute reliable statement.
The exact knowledge of the phase assignment in the area of power distribution is an essential requirement for the safe and reliable power network operation. This covers all voltage levels from a low voltage distribution to high voltage transmission systems. A phase identification or verification is required for the determination of load distribution, the control of the phase assignment of old or new installation and prior to switching to avoid damages and outages. The phase identification with the PVS 100 enhances the safety of power distribution systems and prevents accidents.
The Phase identification System PIL 8 permits a fast and especially safe phase determination at the jointing location during the mounting of medium voltage cables. According to DIN VDE 0105 0100 part 2 (EN 50110-1) from Okt. 1997, Pos. 6.2.4.1 Topic 3 (Page 12) it specifies: "... If the earthing or shorting has to be removed for the duration of measurements or tests, suitable other safety measures have to be taken.”
Such safety measures require a relatively large effort and are not always practical. The specific advantage of the technology used in the PIL 8 is the fact, that the ground or shorting must not be removed. In opposition, this grounding it is an essential part of the procedure, which means, the cable must be grounded and shorted for the system to work. Resulting the use is absolutely safe. For each phase the according transceiver clamp are installed tot he grounded cable end and then at the selection point each phase is identified and marked.
